Terms of service

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country) to create an account. The Service is a free-to-play prediction game offered for entertainment; no purchase is necessary to enter or win.

Where local law restricts prize-based prediction contests, participation in prize draws may be limited or void. You are responsible for ensuring use of the Service is lawful in your jurisdiction.

You agree to provide accurate information at sign-up, to keep your login credentials confidential, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or appear to be operated fraudulently (including duplicate or bot accounts).

Picks must be submitted before the official kickoff of each match; late picks are not accepted. Scoring follows the published Rules & Scoring page, which forms part of these Terms. We rely on official match results from licensed data providers; corrections after publication will be honoured where reasonable.

Public leaderboards display your chosen display name, country flag, and total points. You can edit your display name or hide your country from your settings.

Where The Lovable Game offers prizes (e.g. Lovable merch or credits), the specific prize, eligibility, and delivery rules are listed on the Rules page or the specific promotion. Prizes are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may be substituted for items of equivalent value. Taxes, where applicable, are the winner's responsibility.

You agree not to:

• create multiple accounts, automate picks, or otherwise manipulate the leaderboard;
• upload abusive, defamatory, hateful, or unlawful display names or content;
• attempt to access, probe, or interfere with our infrastructure;
• reverse engineer, scrape, or commercially redistribute the Service;
• impersonate FIFA, a federation, a player, or any other person or organisation.

The The Lovable Game name, logo, design system, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Team names, crests, and tournament marks remain the property of their respective owners and are referenced for editorial purposes only.

The Lovable Game is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to FIFA, any national football association, broadcaster, or team.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that scores, fixtures, or results will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Lovable Game and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or consumer rights under your local law.

You may delete your account at any time from settings or by emailing privacy@bracket26.example. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue in effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of Dublin, Ireland, except where mandatory local consumer law grants you the right to bring a claim in your country of residence.
